Add-ins Deprecated in Visual Studio 2013
Microsoft has deprecated the Visual Studio Add-in infrastructure. According to MSDN, “Visual Studio add-ins are deprecated in Visual Studio 2013. You should upgrade your add-ins to VSPackage extensions.”
