Spring Cloud 2022.0.0 Delivers Updates to Sub-Projects and JDK 17 Baseline
VMware has released Spring Cloud 2022.0.0, codenamed Kilburn, based upon the recently introduced Spring Framework 6 and Spring Boot 3. Spring Cloud 2022.0.0 is based on Spring Framework 6 requiring Java 17 and is compatible with Jakarta EE 9. This release supports Ahead of Time (AOT) compilation and the creation native images with GraalVM.

GlassFish 7.0 Delivers Support for JDK 17 and Jakarta EE 10
The Eclipse Foundation has released the latest version of its open-source application server, GlassFish 7.0, which is now available. The new release includes support for the MicroProfile Config, MicroProfile JWT Propagation, and Jakarta MVC 2.1 specifications. Changes to the API and JSON parts of the Jakarta Standard Tag Library and new Jakarta Authentication methods are also essential features.

Spring Authorization Server 1.0 Provides Oauth 2.1 and OpenID Connect 1.0 Implementations
More than two-and-a-half years after being introduced to the Java community, VMWare has released Spring Authorization Server 1.0. Built on top of Spring Security, the Spring Authorization Server project supports the creation of OpenID Connect 1.0 Identity Providers and OAuth 2.1 Authorization Servers. The project supersedes the Spring Security OAuth project which is no longer maintained.
