Meta AI Research announced two new generative AI models: Emu Video, which can generate short videos given a text prompt, and Emu Edit, which can edit images given text-based instructions. Both models are based on Meta's Emu foundation model and exhibit state-of-the-art performance on several benchmarks.

Microsoft Launches iPhone App
Microsoft Live Labs has released Seadragon Mobile, Microsoft's first application developed for the iPhone platform. Seadragon is an image viewer incorporating Microsoft's Deep Zoom functionality, allowing efficient display and manipulation of high-resolution imagery. Seadragon Mobile is available for free in the iTunes App Store.
