BBC MicroBit Aims to Make Computing Cool for Kids
Yesterday the BBC unveiled the final plans for the BBC MicroBit, a system-on-a-chip-on-a-board with a 5x5 LED matrix aimed at getting children interested in programming. Announced in March 2015, the BBC MicroBit is now finalised and will be given to children in year 7 across the UK, and available for purchase towards the end of 2015. Raspberry Pi 2 Brings More Power, Memory and Windows Support
The Raspberry Pi foundation has announced a new upgrade for the Raspberry Pi, including a quad-core ARM A7 processor and 1G of memory. Additionally, Microsoft have been involved and Windows 10 for devices will be available for free as part of the Widows on Devices programme. Read on for more details.
