The Agile Australia 2009 conference runs in Sydney, Australia this coming week, 15 and 16 October.
The conference has more than 25 sessions, with local and international speakers. Keynotes include Jean Tabaka (author of Collaboration Explained: Facilitation Skills for Software Project Leaders) talking about 12 Agile Adoption Failure Modes and Jeff Smith CIO of Suncorp talking on Increasing Business Value Through Simplicity
The conference overview states
Agile Australia will discuss themes around culture, people, governance, and
organisation and process. Speakers will share their varying experiences of
adopting Agile and the impact it has had on delivery and risk. In particular,
the speakers will provide their insights into the cultural changes which Agile
requires and what has worked – and most importantly, what has not!
