On day 2 of RSGI Conference, V. Srinivasa Rao, CEO at BT&BT Management Consultancy, talked about Digital Apps Development as keynote. His talk was focused on following main points:
- Hyper connected world
- Digital products/ services / processes
- Digital apps vs. applications
- Continuous delivery of digital apps.
He talked about continuous delivery of digital apps. Devops is “enable software delivery as a flow”. To maintain flow agile methods, waste observation checks, value stream maps, continuous delivery planners, visual control management and collaboration are helpful.
Rajesh Patil gave second keynote on “Scrum lessons from service organizations”. He discussed challenges faced by teams in a service environment and how these can be overcome through rigor, patience and perseverance. He shared some case studies from various teams he has worked with.
After tea break conference divided into 5 parallel tracks, which included organizational behavior, scaled scrum, team behaviors, around scrum and tools.
Coaching clinic happened entire day in an open area where we had CSCs and CSTs to clear participants’ doubts on agile execution. Daniel Gullo – CSC, CST at SolutionsIQ, Carol McEvan - Managing Director at Scrum Alliance, Zuzi Sochova – Agile, Scrum Coach and founder of Agilni Asociace, Arne Ahlander - Founder and Principal Consultant at Aqqurite AB, Manoj Vadakkan - Certified Scrum Trainer, Agile Consultant, Agile Coach at Northern Star Consulting and Daniel Teng - Certified Scrum Coach & Certified Scrum Trainer at Odd-e, were part of coaches panel. Participants asked questions and posted their views / questions on the white board to have the answers. There was a board where they captured the pictures of all the participants who came and asked questions to coaches.
Event ended with panel discussion and closing ceremony.
